Christmas in Oklahoma

WinterFest  – Tulsa

A long time Oklahoma tradition in downtown Tulsa. Outdoor ice skating, cool lights and a really big Christmas tree.

Territorial Christmas in Guthrie

Guthrie is home to one of the largest historically preserved districts in the USA. Early 20th-century style with the territorial homes and building make this a wonderful tourist destination. The places oozes and old timer vibe and the wild west with the best of them.

Tour or marvel at the intricate costumes worn by revelers during the Victorian Walk Evenings. The theater is really cool and also worth a visit any time of year.

Downtown Okc

Growing up Gen-Z in Okc, downtown wasn’t really much of a thing. These days, Christmas is done up proper with an ice skating rink and a really cool snow slide at the ballpark. Downtown in December is also Free Downtown in December.

The Nutcracker is Okc and Tulsa

Both Okc and Tulsa put on wonderful renditions of the Nutcracker. One of the premier Christmas events in Oklahoma.

Cool Lights Displays

Okc Zoo

I’v always been a big fan of zoos and have been to many great ones,. Okc’s zoo is first rate. They deck the halls with impressive lights. Unfortunately there are no shows at the amphitheater this time of year.

Ski Island

A long time Okc tradition, the residents of Ski Island go all out with their lights. The cars line up and come from near and far for drive through the festive neighborhood.
