Located just west of OKC, this was one of our go to camping and day hiking spots growing up. They have tent and RV camping, with a few RV spots with hook-ups. As you drive outside of OKC and view nothing but rolling prairie land, it’s hard to believe there is a little canyon tucked away just off the highway. As you get to the park, you wind your way down into the base of the small canyon, and from there you can hike up and down trails, and for the daring, a few rock walls are available for climbing. We have not been back in a while, so not sure if you were really supposed to climb the walls back in the day.
